At ICARE St. Pete, we are dedicated to making healthcare accessible for everyone—regardless of income, insurance, or immigration status.

As part of the Florida Department of Health’s Volunteer Health Care Provider Program, our providers operate with sovereign immunity protection—allowing us to serve our community with dignity, compassion, and confidence.

Through accessible medical services, trusted partnerships, and deep-rooted community relationships, we’re creating pathways to better health, hope, and opportunity in South St. Pete and surrounding areas.

At ICARE ST. PETE

We believe that healthcare is a human right — not a privilege.

We are an independent, volunteer-powered nonprofit. We receive no federal funding and operate without government grants. Our mission is fueled entirely by the compassion, skill, and dedication of professionals who choose to serve — not for profit, but for purpose.

Unlike many organizations that rely on large collaborations or outside funding, our strength comes from within. Our team is made up of dentists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, pediatric residents, ministers, and other caring volunteers who give their time and expertise to bring free, accessible healthcare to those in need.

When other programs close, when grants run out, and when resources are limited —

ICARE Services Include:

• Patients of all ages, starting from 6 months old

• Flexible payment options: Free, Sliding Scale, and Co-pay based on eligibility

• Expanded medication assistance programs with options for free, co-pay, or affordable prescriptions

Our long-term vision is to become a comprehensive community health hub, serving as a trusted and inclusive healthcare access point for all residents in need—while maintaining our roots in compassionate, volunteer-powered service.
